About the role
As a Gen AI Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable, innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI, AWS cloud services, and Snowflake. You will be a valued member of our architecture and engineering team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to integrate AI/ML capabilities, automate deployments, and enhance system performance.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop scalable architectures using Generative AI, AWS services, and Snowflake.
- Integrate AI and machine learning solutions into existing systems in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Implement AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, and CodeBuild to automate deployment workflows.
- Use AWS Machine Learning services to develop predictive models that generate actionable business insights.
- Provide technical leadership on AI/ML use cases, solution design, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Validate and test AI/ML models ensuring accuracy, reliability, and real-world applicability.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.
- Create documentation and training materials to support knowledge transfer across the team.
- Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to drive code quality.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection requirements.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Hartford, CT each week. What you need to have to be considered
- Proven experience designing scalable architectures using AWS services, Snowflake, and Generative AI.
- Strong background in AI/ML solution development, including model validation and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodeBuild).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex technical concepts.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 115,000 - $ 135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Position Summary: The Application Support Specialist, Revenue Cycle supports, configures, and optimizes healthcare applications supporting our revenue cycle operations, including athenaOne and Aptarro (RCxRules). This role partners with operational, clinical, technical, and vendor teams to ensure practice and central billing office workflows are accurately configured, maintained, and continuously improved.
By managing systems and workflows across the revenue cycle—from patient registration through final payment posting, the Specialist reduces errors, accelerates payment timelines, and improves overall financial performance. This position also plays a key role in end‑user training, system adoption, and ongoing application support.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide application support for athenaOne and integrated revenue cycle systems.
- Deliver on‑site and remote training for providers and staff, including new‑hire, refresher, and workflow‑specific training.
- Support end users during go‑live events and post‑implementation stabilization.
- Create and update training materials, policies, workflows, and standard work documentation.
- Troubleshoot application issues and escalate to vendors and/or internal teams as appropriate.
- Evaluate clerical and clinical workflows to ensure accurate system design.
- Review workflows, data collection, reporting logic, and system behavior.
- Complete ad‑hoc and routine scheduled updates to provider, location, fee schedules, and other system master files.
- Create and maintain documentation for training, policies, procedures, workflows, and internal communications.
- Administer application access, identity, and security, including insurance website access.
- Create, test, and maintain charge pass rules supporting automated charge capture.
- Troubleshoot rule behavior and system output to identify root causes and resolution paths.
- Collaborate with vendor resources to resolve complex configuration and performance issues.

Skills/qualifications:
- Understanding of the complete Revenue Cycle, including insurance verification, charge capture, claims processing, posting, denials, and patient billing

- Hands‑on experience training, support, and collaboration with end‑users to improve workflows
- Knowledge of payer portals, insurance website administration, and handling patient billing inquiries
- Exposure to Aptarro (RCxRules) or other charge passing rule engine (rule creation & troubleshooting)
- Effectively prioritizes work with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline

Key Responsibilities Detonate and demolish hazardous munitions, pyrotechnics, and outdated explosives; neutralize ordnance including sea mines, torpedoes, depth charges, and improvised explosive devices; remotely disable unsafe ordnance using robotic and diagnostic technology; conduct parachute and helicopter insertion operations; clear waterways of mines in support of ships and submarines; provide explosive ordnance support to law enforcement agencies and organizations such as the United States Secret Service and Department of State.

Apply for the Navy Warrior Challenge contract for EOD during initial enlistment, then pass the EOD Physical Screening Test and diver medical screening; complete required assessments and receive recommendation and screening from an EOD officer or senior enlisted EOD technician; additional in service accession requirements may include minimum time on board, performance standards, and command endorsement.
