Responsibilities
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking one Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Practice. NP/PAs are valued members within our team and teamwork is essential to meeting the needs of the patients for whom we provide care. Provision of care in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment and physical examination, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests and/or procedures, diagnosing and directly managing clinical infertility, promoting wellness, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, and as well as non-pharmacological therapies, and appropriate follow-up. Teaching and counseling individuals, families, and groups are a significant part of NP/PA activities. NP/PAs are also expected to serve as mentors, and to participate in clinical improvement and research projects as appropriate to the clinical setting. Candidates must possess the ability to work closely with team members, fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to enhance a culture of belonging.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current State MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP, or ANP. Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice. Responsibilities
Community Internal Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team. The NP or PA will provide acute, chronic, medically complex, and preventive health care services to established adult patients in the outpatient clinic setting. The provision of care includes but is not limited to comprehensive evaluation, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, and counseling patients. Benefit-eligible employees (50-100% FTE) receive up to 7 trip days (commensurate with time away from practice as approved off the schedule by a supervisor) and an annual allotment of $4,400 for Continued Medical Education (CME).
