Java Developer

Must have Java + Spring Boot

DESCRIPTION:

Job Responsibilities:

● Develop applications using Java 8/JEE (and higher), Angular 2+, React.js, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript among other tools.

● Write scalable, secure, maintainable code that powers our clients’ platforms. ● Create, deploy and maintain automated system tests.

● Works with Testers to understand defects opened and resolves them in a timely manner ● Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

● Collaborates effectively with other team members to accomplish shared user story and sprint goals

Requirement:

● Experience in a programming language Java and JavaScript

● Decent understanding of the software development life cycle

● Basic programming skills using object-oriented programming (OOP) languages with in-depth knowledge of common APIs and data structures like Collections, Maps, lists, Sets etc.

● Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) basic SQL query language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

● Master’s Degree in Computer Science (CS)

● 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding

● Experience using Spring, Maven and Angular frameworks, HTML, CSS ● Knowledge with other contemporary Java technologies (e.g. Weblogic, RabbitMQ, Tomcat, etc.) · Knowledge of JSP, J2EE, and JDBC

Role: Staff Accountant

Purpose: Responsible for supporting finance team by performing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role involves preparing journal entries, management reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and supporting audits.

Reporting into CPA Controller

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger.

• Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain and update the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, transfers,

and depreciation. Assist with A/P and A/R processes as needed.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.

• Support annual budget processes by preparing schedules, gathering financial data, and

performing variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or product-based

Environment required.

• Public accounting experience a plus.

• Experience working with inventory management preferred.

• Excellent analytical and computer skills; highly proficient in Excel-based modeling.

• Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills within and external to company.

• Detail-driven with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Experience working with inventory in a manufacturing or distribution company is essential to success in this role.
