- Develop marketing, advertising, and community outreach strategies to grow the business
- Work with PR, social, and brand partners on events, activations, and promotions
- Represent Mr. Edison with polish, integrity, and authenticity
- Build strong relationships with guests, partners, and the local community

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 annually
- Bonus: Eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive programs
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
- You will be eligible for up to three (3) weeks of PTO based on an accrual schedule, usable for illness, caregiving, preventative medical care, vacation, or any personal reason.

A bit about us:
Top ranked CPA and advisory firm with roots in the Midwest is actively searching for a Sr Tax Associate. The Senior Tax Associate will work collaboratively with the members of an expanding team and will prepare business and individual tax returns and assist with strategic planning.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and performing corporate, S-corporation, partnership, individual, and state and local tax compliance engagements.
- Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual income tax provisions as well as identifying and documenting uncertain tax positions
- Performing technical research, analysis, and written memorandum
- Preparing client depreciation schedules
- Preparing trial balances from client information along with providing adjusting journal entries for the client as needed.
- Assuming project management responsibilities as needed
- Maintain accurate records of your scheduled work and communicate with effectively
- Participating in mentoring, training, recruiting, retention, and team-building activities

Job Details
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- Public accounting experience required
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- CPA or eligibility for CPA - highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate to all levels of employees and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Established decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook including data manipulation
