Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes.

Job Duties Assists in the coordination of treatments with other disciplines.
Provides basic patient assistance.
Connects patients to clinical equipment as needed.
Practices aseptic techniques while preparing for surgery including scrubbing, applying surgical gown, gloving, draping and setting up instrument table.
Actively participates in surgical timeout.
Identifies correct surgical site with the circulating Registered Nurse and surgeon for operative procedures.
Maintains an accurate account of supplies including sponges, needles and instruments, per policy.
Prepares, identifies and verifies all specimens obtained during the surgical procedure.
Prepares room in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment for each individual surgical procedure.
Disposes of linens, needles, and sharps in appropriate containers.
Assesses wounds and applies or changes sterile dressing as instructed by the Registered Nurse and Surgeon.
Anticipates needs of surgeon during the intra-operative phase.
Cleans and prepares room between procedures and organizes effectively for end-of-case cleanup.
Reports to the Registered Nurse, reactions, results of procedures, and any changes observed in the patient's condition.
Documents pertinent medical information and initiates emergency procedures where indicated.
Restocks Operating rooms, monitors inventory and pulls case supplies for the following day.

Unit Details: Advanced Acute Care Cardiovascular (HFAM8) is a 30 bed, private room, Cardiology, Vascular, Thoracic and Med-Surgical with a cardiac diagnosis unit.
We take patients needing conscious sedation for bedside cardioversions/Chest Tube insertion, Bi-pap, Hi-flow and Ultra-filtration for Heart Failure patients.
Some of the cardiac drips we take are Milrinone, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Cardizem and Dobutamine.
Currently, we do not take titratable drips.
Also caring for patients post cardiac catheterization/cardiac procedure and patients with heart failure requiring inpatient interventions.

We take patients needing conscious sedation for bedside cardioversions/Chest Tube insertion, Bi-pap, Hi-flow and Ultra-filtration for Heart Failure patients.
Some of the cardiac drips we take are Milrinone, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Cardizem and Dobutamine.
Currently, we do not take titratable drips.
Also caring for patients post cardiac catheterization/cardiac procedure and patients with heart failure requiring inpatient interventions.

Position Details GP2 is a 24-bed advanced acute care unit.
They provide complex patient care for a wide variety of medical diagnoses that require inpatient care and hospitalization.

Job Duties The Certified Wound Ostomy Continence RN assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing interventions to meet the needs of the patient with disorders of the integumentary system including wounds, pressure ulcers, ostomies, and continence disorders.
Prepares the patient and/or family for home care following discharge.
Consults with patient's physician in planning and with Care Management regarding support at home as indicated.
This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; days.
A Bachelor's Degree (does not have to be a BSN) is required.
RN license is required (PA or Multistate).
2 years clinical/RN work history is required; wound or inpatient experience is strongly preferred.

Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.

Plans patient care to reflect realistic, measurable, and obtainable goals, adapting the approach as required.
Initiates collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members and takes action to proactively resolve and facilitate patient needs.
Serves as a resource in the development of patient education material.
Provides outpatient services within the scope of practice.
Assists in evaluating the suitability of the home environment for return of the patient through discussion with patient, family, and members of the care team.
Serves in advisory capacity to hospital committees and workgroups regarding best practice standards on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
Collaborates with leadership and staff and other campuses to determine wound and ostomy needs for patients off-campus and provides consultation and care as assigned.
