Working as part of a care team, the Nurse Practitioner provides best in class virtual patient care via video and telephonic appointments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient assessments, including collecting medical history, performing mental status examinations, and diagnosing and treating common mental health illnesses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Order, interpret and provide appropriate follow-up for diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• See patients independently in states with full practice authority. Manage obtaining additional licensure in full practice authority states as requested by the practice.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, adhering to evidence-based guidelines, and considering patient preferences and limitations.
• Monitor patient progress, assess outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize patient care.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) mandatory
• Post-Masters Graduate Certificate
• 4+ years of clinical experience as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Must hold two independent, active state licenses, including at least one in Arizona, Iowa, Washington, Nevada, Illinois, Virginia, Oregon, Minnesota, or Utah prior to starting at Teladoc.
• Must be willing to obtain additional licenses in the future
• Must be Board Certified by ANCC or AANP
• Must be enrolled as a Medicaid provider or eligible for enrollment upon hire.

The base salary for this position is $145,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for productivity pay as well as a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc 2026 Benefits. Summary of Position

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities (as an Independent Contractor)

• Deliver individual therapy sessions virtually (via secure video and phone), focusing on adolescent and adult populations.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Coordinate with Teladoc's support teams as needed to facilitate client care and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Experience providing therapy in an unsupervised, independent practice setting.

• Active license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in at least one of the following states: California, New York, Ohio, Alabama, South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Utah, or Mississippi with eligibility to treat patients independently.

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Experience working with clients managing PTSD, depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions.

• Strong clinical skills and ability to operate autonomously in a telehealth environment.

Underwriting Program Manager – Stop Loss (Fully Remote or Hybrid – Hartford, CT Area)

A growing insurance organization based in Hartford, CT is looking to add an experienced Underwriting Program Manager to oversee a dedicated block of Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss business. This is a key leadership role with ownership over pricing strategy and underwriting results, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The position can be fully remote, with a hybrid option (2 days onsite) for candidates located within 50 miles of Hartford.

Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary

Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate case information and risk factors to develop competitive and sound pricing recommendations for both new and in-force Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss accounts, in alignment with underwriting guidelines.

• Review large claim data in advance of clinical review to identify potential high-risk drivers and determine appropriate next steps.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales partners, brokers, TPAs, underwriters, and other internal and external stakeholders.

• Advise clients and partners on stop loss structures and plan design considerations to ensure appropriate risk protection.

• Partner with the sales team throughout the quoting process to help position proposals competitively and strategically.

• Exercise independent underwriting authority while ensuring complete and accurate file documentation.

• Analyze submissions that fall outside standard guidelines and prepare well-supported exception recommendations for senior leadership review.

• Present clear risk assessments, financial impact analysis, and strategic rationale to support executive decision-making.

• Review, approve, or decline cases within authority, while offering guidance and alternative structuring recommendations to team members.
