This 24/7/365-day department averages approximately 130,000 exams per year.

Working in a variety of areas, the Radiology Technologists at Riverside gain valuable knowledge and continue to grow on a daily basis.

These technologists work in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Same Day Surgery Center, Endoscopy, use portables to cover the entire hospital (ICU, PACU, NICU, et.), plus work with our inpatient population and outpatient walk-ins.

This fast-paced diagnostic department is a great place for a technologist who is looking for variety! This Radiology Technologist prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

This is a full-time, night shift position working three 12-hour shifts with an every other weekend rotation.

Call is required one 8-hour shift per month.

Responsibilities And Duties: 40% Performs Diagnostic procedures.

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.

Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopy studies utilizing digital fluroscope equipment; Maintains proficiency in each of these areas.

Provides radiation safety for operator and patient.

He/She assures the Mammography program meets all FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act and American College of Radiology requirements and standards.

Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic Electrophysiology Lab.

This fast-paced environment is at the forefront of the electrophysiology field, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional care to our patients.

The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures.

The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique.

As an Electrophysiology Lab RT(R), you will play a critical role in assisting with electrophysiological procedures managing the fluoro systems and scrubbing alongside our physicians ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Your expertise will contribute to treating cardiac arrhythmias using the latest advancements in medical technology.

Key Responsibilities • Assist in complex electrophysiological procedures • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care The hours for this position are 7:00a-5:30p (four 10-hour shifts/week).

There is a required weekend call rotation (8:00a-12:00p) plus a call-stay rotation during the week for cases that may be running over.

Responsibilities And Duties: 85% Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area.

10% Greets patients upon arrival to department.

Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent).

Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician.

Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions.

Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients.

(5%) Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis.

Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records.
