This role is located in a vibrant area approximately 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
Job Description: Primary Location: Hospital Setting Distance from Downtown Chicago: Approximately 12 miles Department: Radiology and Medical Imaging Radiologist Team: Over 50 subspecialized radiologists Supporting Hospitals: Multiple hospitals in the region Requirements: Board Certified in Radiology Fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK) Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills covering the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging Practice Setting: Hospital-based Participation in Interventional Procedures: MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, soft tissue/bone biopsy Call Schedule: Weekday 4 p.m.

call from home (once a week on average) Weekend call (approximately 7 calls per year) Remote Call Duties: Evening shift and weekend call fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix of plain film and cross-sectional 110 X-rays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma 1 and Trauma 2 facilities Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in the department 41 FTE Teleradiology: Not used for MSK Patient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required Research Opportunities: Available for clinical and translational research EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate Credentialing Timeline: Usually 2-3 months (depends on the physician's IL license status) Submission Requirements: Board Certified in Radiology
