Position Overview

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is seeking mid- to senior-level attorneys to join its Aviation & Aerospace practice in the firm's Chicago office. Attorneys in this role will handle a diverse caseload, participate in case strategy, and prepare matters for trial in both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation matters in state and federal courts.

SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Securities Law and SEC Compliance

• Support periodic and current reporting processes (Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K) and proxy statement
• Manage insider trading compliance and assist with the preparation and filing of Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5)
• Monitor filing deadlines and maintain a compliance calendar to ensure timely submissions

Counsel will help the Chicago Housing Authority ("CHA") achieve its mission and goals, primarily by protecting its legal interests. Counsel will serve on CHA's Office of the General Counsel Litigation Team. A key focus of this position will be to lead, oversee and handle a high volume of eviction-related matters.
