The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking an obstetrics and gynecology hospitalist to join the Division. This role will involve clinical activity and academic teaching and training of students, interns and residents. The attending OBGYN hospitalist will be providing care for labor and delivery, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, gynecology patients and gynecologic surgeries. Successful candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine at Seton Hall University.

Requirements:

· Board certified/board eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology.

· Academic accomplishments that would merit appointment in the School of Medicine.

· Excellent clinical skills.

· Excellent teaching skills.

About the Program

Northwell’s Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program is among the largest in the Northeast , and provides comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and surgical care in its primary academic locations and care centers. The surgical program includes an active deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program and High-intensity  focused ultrasound (HIFU). The Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center multidisciplinary team includes specialty-trained, board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons, as well as nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists and social workers. The Center closely collaborates with Northwell’s Rehabilitation Network, including occupational, physical, speech and other therapists, all dedicated to helping people with Parkinson’s disease lead active and satisfying lives. 

We have also established at Glen Cove Hospital in Long Island a unique, dedicated, and specialized 12-bed Parkinson's and movement disorders inpatient unit, which offers advanced rehabilitation services and medical and surgical optimization to patients with more advanced disease and is integrated with the DBS program for post-surgical programming combined with intense rehabilitation and medication optimization. The program has recently received Joint Commission certification, and it has affirmed itself as the leading inpatient program in the US.

The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. Mount Sinai Health System is seeking for a Full Time Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) Physician for its department. 

Successful applicants will be Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Critical Care and BE/BC in Pediatric Cardiology or have one year of advanced training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care. Successful applicants will care for high acuity pediatric postoperative cardiac patients and those with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, ventricular assist devices, heart transplant and complex dysrhythmias. PCICU Attendings are members of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and work closely with PICU attendings and other sub specialties.

Responsibilities

• PCICU Attendings are expected to have procedural competency for intubation, arterial lines, central lines and PICC line placement, as well as other common pediatric procedures

• There is opportunity to collaborate on quality improvement and clinical research projects

• The PCICU team includes Intensivists, 6 PCCM fellows, PCICU APPs who specialize in pediatric cardiac ICU care, pediatric residents, medical students, and more than 25 full-time nurses, as well as dedicated PCICU respiratory therapists, social workers, rehabilitation specialists, music therapists and child life specialists.

The Senior Medical Director (SMD) for Population Health Quality and Patient Engagement drives the implementationand ongoing improvement initiatives that enable Mount Sinai to deliver better value to its patients, its customers (i.e.,plan sponsors and payers), its providers, and its partners.
