Position Objective:
Diagnose and treat problems in the digestive system through direct care, consultation, research, expert guidance, leadership, ethical decision making, and collaboration. The position is to augment a developing GI program with anticipation for approximately 50% in-patient and 50% out-patient clinical activity. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are sought with an empathetic approach, and collegiality with allied and referring providers is expected. Candidate will have specialized skills to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of issues related to the digestive tract under the supervision of a physician.
