Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Director and Manager of Maternal Child Department, and the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse in the Level II Nursery is responsible for the provision of safe, effective care of the newborn.

What you will do in this role:

• You will assume responsibility for the efficient management of patients including but not limited to assessments and care planning
• You will demonstrate and maintains competencies in all aspects of newborn care and able to delegate appropriately.

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team. This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours which will be discussed in the interview.

Job Summary

The Supplemental Occupational Therapist assesses patients then develops and initiates a treatment plan based on the results of the evaluation. The evaluation may include measurement of physical, cognitive, perceptual and/or developmental skill as they relate to maximizing level of independence in the occupational performance areas along the continuum of life. Key Responsibilities Serve as an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC) after training, based on performance and Navy needs; as an ET, maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment including transmitters, receivers, displays, and shipboard communications suites such as SATCOM and HF; as an FC, operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, computers, large screen displays, local area networks, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems; troubleshoot complex electronic and electro mechanical faults using technical documentation, test equipment, and established procedures; maintain configuration control, documentation, and logs that support inspections, certifications, and combat system readiness.
