- Physician Out Patient BC Family Medicine position w/o OB available 45 miles of Charlotte, NC Our available position is an Out-Patient only w/o OB Family Medicine Practice in a hospital-owned employed setting located 45 miles outside of Charlotte, NC, and has only telephone call (1:25 ).

Our opportunity is full time, 8 AM
- 5 PM; 4 days/ week, and is closed an hour for lunch each day.

This position has two Nurse Practitioners that would require someone who is comfortable supervising them as well.

No weekends, holidays, or evening hours; offers full benefits
- including malpractice, pension plan, dental, health, life, disability, etc.; 3 weeks vacation which increases at year three and 7 paid holidays; 1 week reimbursed CME; and a highly competitive salary with a wRVU bonus structure with a two year salary guarantee.

Medical Center (WMC) is recruiting a BE/BC Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician just 40 mi from Raleigh. We are looking for a physician to take over an established practice and continue to spearhead the development of a new, hospital-owned practice service line.

Medical Center is comprised of many specialists along with an excellent primary care referral base. The practice blends administrative support with clinical autonomy, allowing physicians to find an ideal balance within the practice of medicine. As a Nurse Extern, you’ll be a valued part of the nursing team, gaining hands-on experience as you explore the full scope of the Registered Nurse role. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing essential care for patients by helping with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), checking vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring comfort and hygiene
• Performing nursing tasks like wound care, catheter care, collecting specimens, and other basic procedures as you gain experience and grow in your competency
• Documenting care accurately and communicating timely updates with the nursing team to keep patient care seamless and coordinated
• Helping patients and families understand their care plans and offering guidance for their health and recovery
• Keeping patient areas clean and safe by following infection prevention practices, managing equipment, and maintaining an organized environment
• Championing your growth and enhancing patient care by engaging in learning opportunities, sharing ideas to improve care, and partnering with your supervisor or preceptor to build your personal career development plan

• Preferred Education: 1+ years of nursing school completed, or as mandated by state of practice

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching patients and family. • Unit: Mission Hospital Main OR, nurses are trained in all cases. 
• New to specialty orientation: OR Cohort is scheduled for those who have no OR experience 7/13/2026. Must have 1yr of RN experience. Recruiter will go over schedule details.
• Schedule: 11am-9pm for experienced OR nurses. 
• Call: Call Required 4-5 shifts every 6 weeks. Must be within 30 min. of facility. 

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: Surgery and or Critical Care experience
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position. Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members. Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptions should this information be needed. RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt. 
• Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing. 
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON 
• Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider 
• Preferred Certification: Certification in area of specialty
