About the Job
Redwood Electric is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Project Team in the day-to-day operations of construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Duties will include but are not limited to material procurement and tracking, document management, estimating, and client relations. Workload may vary from several small-sized jobs to one large project.
- Support projects team with day-to-day operations of construction projects.
- Review project drawings and/or specifications for given projects.
- Establish and create submittals in conjunction with submittal logs.
- Assist with the production and/or processing of RFIs.
- Material procurement including quantity take-offs coordination with purchasing team and tracking tools to ensure product is delivered on schedule.
- Change Order pricing, including lump sum change orders and Field Work Order tracking and proposals.
- Assist engineering department on design/build projects.
- Attend project and field job site meetings as needed.
- Coordinate schedules with the field team and superintendent onsite.
- Coordinate schedules with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Interact with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and providing timely responses.
- Prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
- Understand and follow operating procedures within company and jobsite guidelines.
- Represent the company in a safe and professional manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical construction industry as a Field Engineer and/or Estimator
- High school diploma or GED required
- Degree in Construction management, engineering or related field preferred
- Experience with Accubid Trimble preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- Ability to problem solve and drive positive resolutions
- Adept at organizing and documentation
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Knowledge of inventory and supply management preferred
Working Conditions
- This position is based in our Reno office and is not eligible for remote work.
- Work may be performed in an office or on active job sites, depending on role and project needs.
- Office work includes sitting, typing, and using a computer for extended periods.
- Field environments may involve walking, standing, bending, or lifting materials (up to 30 lbs).
- Noise levels range from quiet (office) to high (job sites).
- May require occasional travel to project locations or meetings.

Summary
The Project Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing safety support for a construction project. This is a junior position within the safety department. Project safety coordinators work closely with a site safety manager or regional safety manager as they gain the experience and knowledge necessary to work more independently.
Essential Functions
- Supports the site management team by actively engaging them in dialog about safety concerns and passionately working to find practical, proactive solutions to create continuous safety improvement.
- Interacts with General Contractors, owner representatives, and other Subcontractors on behalf of Helix Electric to resolve safety challenges.
- Tracks and reports on safety incidents that occur on the project.
- Assists the site management team in incident notification procedures and in conducting incident investigations to determine root cause and identify corrective actions.
- Conducts safety training as needed for the project.
- Conducts monthly job site safety committee meetings, creates agendas, and minutes for the committee.
- Assists in the creation of JHA and AHA documentation.
- Assists in conducting job site orientations for employees and subcontractors.
- Stays current with key changes in the legal and regulatory environment.
- Fosters a positive safety culture by demonstrating active care and concern for employees' well-being and leads others by encouraging and exemplifying corporate safety expectations.

Competencies
- Proficient in software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as other databases, systems and software programs that are commonly utilized in the field.

Required Education & Experience
- Familiarity with 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, EM385-1-1, NFPA 70E.
- OSHA 30-hour construction course within the previous 5 years.
Compensation
The starting base pay for this role is between USD $30-$45 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to:
- Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. This RN Program Coordinator opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who provides direct patient care to adult patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates effectively with the physicians, team members, and vendors regarding needed implants and supplies. Assesses operating rooms room for equipment functioning, supplies, implants, and readiness. Assists in obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the surgical team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Functions as a team member and resource for the Surgical Services Department. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Responsible for specified service line, including supply management, physician relations and satisfaction, vendor relations, and education of staff.
* Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
* Functions as a liaison to service specific vendors, coordinating flow of materials and collaborating with Sterile Processing to ensure patient and physician needs are met.
* Assists in policy review and physician order sets.
* Trains all nursing staff in the specific service line.
