Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and
education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level
progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher
grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.
Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Education Substitution:A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement based on (1) class
standing, (2) grade-point average (3.0 or higher), or (3) honor society membership; OR one (1) full year

Glynco, GA. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training,
examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern
border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program,
which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this
position.

Job Summary and QualificationsWe are currently seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a CT Technologist at HCA Florida Northside Hospital, you will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, and biopsies. We prioritize patient care; if you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity.
As a CT Technologist, duties will include but not be limited to:
- Select proper technical factors for study then perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner
- Demonstrate sound and thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures
- Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- Obtain high-quality CT images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and keep up to date with changes in the field by in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary/recommended
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregivers to include the radiologist
- Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA-approved institution
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Job Summary and QualificationsOur imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist for a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed opportunity. As an X-Ray Tech on our team, you will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnoses/treatment and carefully perform procedures accurately and in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) may include:
- Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation utilizing appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicated
- Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and assist in administration of contrast media
- Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
- Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school
- Valid ARRT certification
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health CRT licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
