Our client in California is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for a 70-day assignment starting Mar 23, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive adult medicine care, focusing on managing the patient continuum of care through gap closures and diligent follow-ups, with typical shifts from 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide adult medicine care
- Keep patient continuum of care in check through care gaps and follow-ups
- Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, COPD, and diabetes
- Conduct wellness exams and physicals
- Address upper respiratory, cold, cough, and flu cases
- Provide referrals to specialists
- Note: No suturing, splinting, or urgent care cases are required
