Our integrated plastic surgery residency provides opportunity for teaching, research, and program development. Geisinger has an established reconstructive and cosmetic referral base which is geared to building a thriving practice. Position Details
A plastic surgeon deals with the repair, reconstruction or replacement of physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniomaxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, breasts and trunk and external genitalia. They use aesthetic surgical principles not only to improve undesirable qualities of normal structures but in all reconstructive procedures as well. A plastic surgeon possesses special knowledge and skill in the design and surgery of grafts, flaps, free-tissue transfer and replantation.
