Invasive Cardiology in Southwest Florida! A well-established group in beautiful Southwest Florida is seeking an invasive cardiologist to join their group! There are currently 3 interventional, 1 non-invasive, and 2 NPs, but they are expanding.
This is an immediate opportunity, offering partnership after approximately 18 months, depending on production, with a stock buy-in.
Physician will be on call every 4th night and every 4th weekend until partnership is offered, and the 3 local hospitals are all within 10 minutes of the practice.
This position allows top earning potential, with all of the physicians earning in the upper 90% for their specialty! Interventional Cardiology Southwest Florida Currently 3 interventionals and 1 non-invasive, also 2 nurse practitioners All the physicians earn in the upper 90% for their specialty 800k by year 3 for interventional Guaranteed Salary of 420k plus production bonus' for the first year, but physician will most likely pass this by the sixth month mark Partnership is usually 18 months

The primary hospital provides open heart, EP and interventional procedures.
The other two hospitals provide cardiac cath and EP services.

There is a regional airport about 45 minutes away and the local airport is a growing facility that will be offering daily scheduled, limited destination, commercial jet service within the next few months.

Medical Assistant
- Demonstrates ability to recognize urgent/emergent needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
- Demonstrates current level of knowledge of various payor regulations by functioning within those guidelines.
- Follows clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record).
- Acts to facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Utilizes other members of the health care team in assessing the patient and analyzes patient data. Assesses learning needs of the patient and significant others. Gives accurate and complete information to patient and family.
- Evaluates patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions.
- Assists with a variety of procedures, exams and/or operation of diagnostic equipment as assigned (i.e. EKG, spirometry, tympanometry, etc.).
- Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and medications administered.
- Accurately documents all patient interactions in electronic medical record.
- Reports results and pertinent information to patients and health care team members.
- Functions according to limitations or scope of license or certification.

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within first year of employment and maintained thereafter.
- Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
