• Dedicated APP provider working directly with one of our GI physicians
• No call, no nights, and no weekends
• Monday-Friday clinic schedule generally from 8a-5p.
• The role is 100% outpatient in a busy clinic seeing about 20 patients per day. You'll have dedicated support staff including a dedicated Medical Assistant.
• GI experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide first assist in vascular surgery procedures* Support general, endovascular, and complex vascular surgeries* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, MAs, RVTs, and a full-time provider* Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination* Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Qualifications

* Board certified through ABMS or AOA* Active Colorado medical license* COVID-19 vaccination required* Clean malpractice and background history* Must disclose number of years using Epic and the most recent usage date

Working Hours

* Must be available to cover two extended weekends per month (Thursday through Monday or Tuesday)* Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60?90 days

Skills

* Proficient in first assist for vascular surgeries* Experience in procedures including bypass, fem-pop, aorto-femoral/iliac, peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries* Skilled in placement of vascular access devices and subclavian steal procedures* Familiar with Epic EMR system and efficient documentation practices* Ability to work effectively in a trauma-level hospital environment
