Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Nurse Manager of the Progressive Care Unit you will be responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of the department. You will collaborate with physicians to expedite information and have the ability to lead, coach and mentor our skilled staff. We are looking for someone who has a passion for providing excellent patient care to our most vulnerable patients and feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
In our Unit:
- We work with a variety of patient needs ranging from burns, cardiac, medical, trauma and telemetry
- We are a Team of 70+ nurses and technicians
- We have 36 beds and are one of the busiest inpatient units in our hospital
- We are Proud to be a part of the largest medical facility in the region with the most diverse patient needs
- We offer training opportunities to transfer to our Medical and Burn ICUs
- We work closely together in support of our patients
In this Manager role:
- You will have experience with role modeling and sustaining patient and family centered care and direct staff as they care for patients and educate families.
- You will demonstrate the ability to manage and coordinate patient care, maintaining departmental flow and directing the staff assignments as needed.
- You will work with the Director on department staffing; hiring, evaluating, guiding, disciplining, and scheduling of staff.
- You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
- You will develop and communicate a shared vision for the department consistent with the hospitals vision.
- You will be skilled at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of staff performance and work with them on training and development accordingly.
- You will have the ability to effectively coordinate functions with staff, physicians and other departments of the hospital with a focus on throughput based on the patientโs needs.ย
- Current Idaho nursing license in good standing or compact
- Associate Degree in Nursing Required with Bachelorโs Degree Preferred
- Past clinical experience working in a high acuity hospital environment with progressive levels of increased responsibility and/or past supervisory experienceย
- Occasional/ Intermittent Required
- Previous RN Hospital experience requiredย
- Charge or other leadership experience strongly preferred

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. Job Description

Pay is determined on the following:
Work experience
Being independently licensed (not requiring supervision)
Holding specialized certificates in substance use and trauma
Salary wages start at $50,000 to 75,000 yr.
Billable wages start at $30 to $40 a billable hour
Hiring bonus $2500 after 60 days of full-time employment

SUMMARY
The Executive Director provides market leadership and direction for the effective management of operations and the delivery of home health agency services, strategic planning, development and attainment of market/Company goals and objectives.ย ย

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath Lab registered nurse you will provide assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. In this role:
You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that take place in the cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker, tilt-table, angioplasty, stent, dialysis catheter, nephrostomy and ureteral tube, IVC filter, IABP, pericardiocentesis, and stress testing procedures.
- You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
- You will appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.
- You will assist the patient through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room.
- You will manage emergent cases.
- You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records and complete all paperwork associated with these procedures.
- You will prepare tests for physician interpretation.
- Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing
- Associateโs Degree in Nursing required; Bachelorโs Degree in Nursing preferredย
- 1+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 90 days of date of hire
