MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

  • Providing daily supervision and mentorship

The ideal candidate will be a licensed professional with a strong background in providing exceptional mental health care services.

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Our Mental Health Clinician will work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive behavioral assessments, and offering effective treatment strategies for a variety of mental illnesses.

Responsibilities: 1.

Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify the mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical expertise.

Qualifications: 1.

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or equivalent.

3.

A minimum of 1+ years of experience in mental health care, with a focus on conducting behavioral assessments and providing therapeutic services.

4.

Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and the latest treatment modalities.

5.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.

6.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients.

7.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.

8.

Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other computer-based applications.

9.

Commitment to adhering to professional ethics and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

10.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging healthcare environment.
