Location: Davie - Fort. Lauderdale, FL
NSU Health is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary HIM Medical Records Specialist to support medical records operations. This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on HIM experience who enjoys working independently and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Working knowledge of Release of Information (ROI) and indexing processes
Minimum 2 years of experience in HIM/Medical Records
Strong computer proficiency
Excellent attention to detail; punctual and dependable
Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to interpret authorizations and determine requested information

The primary responsibilities of one of our Preconstruction team members include collaborating with the Project Executive/team in an effort to set the project(s) up for success.
What you'll be up to:
- Collaborate with ownership and design teams to understand project goals
- Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy in order to help facilitate the design process
- Assist with preconstruction schedule
- Develop scope for trade packages and vet subs to ensure compliance with Contract Documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and detailed plan reviews
- Assist in development of the project estimate and owner proposal
- Collaborate with operations team on budget development
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent combination of onsite training
- 5+ years of working experience in construction industry
- Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office required
- Hard-working, motivated and passionate individual
This role can sit out of either our headquarters in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL or our office in Panama City Beach, FL. Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
