Job Purpose

The Retail Operations Manager will drive operational excellence across the retail store network by developing standardized processes, leading cross-functional initiatives, and optimizing day-to-day execution. This role is responsible for improving efficiency, managing vendor relationships and operating expenses, and overseeing the successful planning and execution of new store openings from build-out through launch. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across retail, logistics, and corporate teams.

Our Crew Members create a warm and friendly shopping experience in our stores. We answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure our customers know they are welcomed and cared for. We entertain customers and make grocery shopping an exciting adventure.

Some responsibilities may include:

  • Working on teams to accomplish goals
  • Operating the cash register in a fun and efficient manner
  • Bagging groceries with care
  • Stocking shelves
  • Creating signage to inform and delight customers
  • Helping customers find their favorite products

You'll learn a lot. You're not stuck doing one task here. Each Crew Member contributes to creating a WOW customer experience by participating in all aspects of the job.

If you have experience in art including penmanship, working with chalk, and large signage, that's a plus.

If you have a passion for people and a fervor for food, we'd love to meet you. We can teach you the rest.

Stores have the greatest need for people that can work evenings and weekends.

Milber Makris Plousadis & Seiden, LLP, a multistate full-service civil litigation defense firm and business partner to the insurance industry, is seeking highly motivated defense attorneys to join our busy Woodbury, New York office. Candidates must be licensed to practice in New York or eligible for admission and knowledgeable of New York Court Rules. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, dynamic firm that offers a great working environment and potential for advancement. We are looking for the right candidates to join our team.


Seeking attorneys with ANY of the following experience:

  • Attorney licensed or eligible for licensure in New York
  • Attorney with 1-3 years’ litigation experience in accounting, business, or taxation
  • Attorney with 2-5+ years’ litigation experience in general liability OR automobile liability
  • Attorney with 2-5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
  • Attorney with 2-5 years’ experience handling professional liability claims
  • Attorney with 2-5 years’ experience representing architects and engineers and handling complex construction claims
  • Attorney with 2-5 years’ employment practices liability defense experience and demonstrated interest in employment law


Qualification Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing or eligible for admission in New York.
  • Exhibits an in-depth knowledge of New York Court Rules and Procedures
  • Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and legal analysis
  • Strong work ethic, ability to manage caseload and work in a team environment
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing substantive motions, attending hearings and trials preferred


Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing own caseload (with oversight by partners depending on experience level)
  • Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
  • Research and writing of memorandums
  • Reporting to clients
  • Attending hearings and court conferences
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Attending inspections
  • Consulting with expert witnesses
  • Attending mediations
  • Trial preparation and trial
