The New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging, Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member to join our pioneering and expanding team. As a clinical faculty member in our Department, you will provide primary care/geriatric clinical services in the ambulatory, acute, home, long-term care, and subacute settings and participate in the on call schedule. Additionally, you will participate in the training and education of medical students and residents. You will participate in faculty development and such other duties as assigned by the Department Chair to support the mission of the Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology, Rowan-Virtua New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging.

The selected candidate must hold the following:

• Valid NJ Medical License
• CDS
• DEA
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.

Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatrics preferred.

• Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble stainless steel components used in bakery production equipment, conveyors, racks, and support structures.
• Perform TIG, MIG, and stick welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum materials.
• Repair damaged bakery equipment, including mixers, conveyors, ovens, pans, racks, and piping using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
• Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
• Modify existing equipment to improve production efficiency or meet operational requirements.
• Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings to complete projects accurately.
• Ensure all fabricated equipment meets food safety and sanitary welding standards for food manufacturing.
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to maintain hygienic surfaces suitable for food production.
• Work closely with the maintenance and engineering teams to support plant projects and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and fabrication shop area.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and food safety policies (GMPs).
• Assist with installation of new bakery equipment and production lines.
• Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  
  

• Strong knowledge and experience in TIG welding as well as MIG welding.
• Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including but not limited to designs, uses, maintenance and repair.
• Must have knowledge, experience and ability to weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel using Arc, Tig, and Mig welding methods.
• Knowledge of metal cutting, grinding, and finishing
• Knowledge of fabrication layouts and measurements
• Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
• Basic understanding of mathematics as it relates to welding assignments.

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship in welding or metal fabrication.
• Minimum 2–5 years welding/fabrication experience, preferably in food manufacturing, bakery, or industrial environments.
• Experience with stainless steel sanitary welding is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitary design standards.
• Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Must be able to see details at close range.
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
• May require working nights, weekends, or overtime depending on production needs.
  
  

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, operational manuals and manufacturing specifications
• Direct mechanic helpers engaged in repairing and maintaining parts of machinery and equipment
• Diagnosing malfunctions in equipment and machinery based on observation of machinery and applying knowledge from experience.

• Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed
• Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements.
• Informs appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers

• Know where emergency STOP, and START/STOP buttons are located

Conduct Receiving, In-process and Final Inspections of Parts, Containers, Shelters, and Welded Structural Steel Fabricated Assemblies by performing Dimensional Inspection, VT, and NDE IAW AWS and Military Specifications. Perform wind, light, water leak, and paint performance tests. Witness electrical testing on all components. Sign each traveler line item as each task is performed and checked before movement to next process step to maintain traceability. Calibrate and Maintain TME and Manufacturing equipment. Complete Inspection Reports, and Sign Product Conformance Release Finished Product. Maintain Records of Acceptance to ISO9001 Standard. Report findings to supervisor.

Job Summary:

This position reports to the Quality Manager. The ideal candidate possesses a basic understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and welding processes of Structural Steel Products. Ability to read different types of schematic drawings. Ability to use basic inspection equipment, prepare and write inspection reports.

Responsibilities:

Accident prevention actively identify, correct and/or report safety hazards to prevent accidents.

Actively identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities.

Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy calling for self-inspection of your work product.

Determines quality and reliability standards by studying drawings and formulas; verifying specifications with engineering staff.

Perform NDE of Welds and Welding Processes IAW AWS, Military, and Customer Specifications.

Identifies raw material condition by inspecting materials samples; conducting inspections and physical tests of materials.

Identifies in-process product condition by inspecting samples during productions process; conducting in-process inspections and physical tests.

Determines disposition of finished products by collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting production and quality data; determine product acceptability in comparison to specifications.

Determines acceptability or rework by conducting inspections and physical tests of reworked product.

Documents finished product status by recording and summarizing raw materials, in-process, and finished-product inspection and physical test data; updating quality assurance data based.

Maintains quality assurance operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Perform precision inspection with equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, plug gauges and comparator

Performs other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000

Location: This position is onsite (non-remote) at the Companys corporate headquarters in Cinnaminson, NJ. This position may occasionally require working overtime and/or working outside of the Companys normal 8:30am 5:30pm hours of operation.
