An immediate opportunity is available with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of District Medical Group (DMG), practicing at Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly Maricopa Medical Center). Valleywise Health is opening a new 240-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine. The new hospital is designated as a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
Valleywise Health co-sponsors nine residency programs affiliated through the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children’s Hospital and is well situated in central Phoenix. The position would include employment through DMG, a 400+ multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching. This position will support the educational initiatives of the OB/GYN department’s associated teaching programs.

U.S. Army Medical Corps

INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRY

District Medical Group, Inc., (DMG), a large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program to staff Valleywise Behavioral Health Center Maryvale. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. Caseload is 10-11 patients and duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching of rotating medical students, with faculty appointment available to the Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix.
This is a full-time position with all benefits, including four weeks of paid time off, one week of CME (with an annual CME allowance of $4,000), ten paid holidays, retirement plan and employer paid malpractice coverage.
Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment.

We staff Valleywise Health—a community hospital and designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center by both the State of Arizona and the American College of Surgeons—right here in metropolitan Phoenix. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art surgical technology and the support of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, skilled in complex spine procedures, and committed to staying current with advances in the field. In this role, you will be involved with all regions of the spine. You’ll also take part in ongoing professional development through conferences, seminars, and workshops to maintain licensure and stay up to date on the latest techniques. Starting orthopedic residency program and will have active involvement in resident education, academic conferences, and teaching activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Current Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain one)

OTOLARYNGOLOGIST/HEAD & NECK SURGEON

The Department of Surgery of District Medical Group (DMG) has an immediate practice opportunity for General Otolaryngologist. The Department staffs Valleywise Health, a community based, university affiliated teaching hospital, with ACS Verified Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area. ENT has no responsibility for facial trauma coverage.
This position will become an integral member of a busy general ENT clinical and academic practice. As a member of our teaching faculty this position will provide supervision of residents, students and staff mentoring including participation in directing elective rotations, lectures, and in-services to both resident staff and medical students.
The preferred candidate must be board certified/board eligible in Otolaryngology and have a strong interest in post residency education to support the department’s mission in post residency medical education. Opportunities to develop, otologic, sinus/skull base, Head and neck focused practice.
