Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required
• Possess a current valid driver's license
• Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. • You must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.

Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.

Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.

Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.

The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Principal Court Attorney that will be assigned to the Onondaga County Surrogate’s Court. Principal Court Attorneys serve in a confidential capacity and are responsible for overseeing the operations of special parts, terms or departments in courts with a service population exceeding 400,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all guardianship filings within the Surrogate’s Court.
• Review filings for proper form and statutory compliance.
• Setting and conducting guardianship calendars, hearings, and conferences.
• Providing legal guidance to staff regarding filing and service requirements, notice to interested parties, fiduciary eligibility, and appointments.
• Overseeing Article 17 and 17-A guardianship proceedings and trust matters.
• Reviewing wrongful death settlements and fiduciary accountings prior to submission to the judge.
• Organizing educational outreach programs for the local bar.
• Advising staff on interactions with pro se litigants.
• Some travel may be required.

General Summary:

• Record perishable markdowns, while analyzing causes and working with the store manager to take corrective action to prevent recurrences.

• Accurately record inventory levels as requested by the store support center.
• Assist the store manager with ensuring that customers' needs and requests are routinely addressed in an efficient and timely manner. Maintain daily contact with customers to understand merchandise expectations and desires.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and training associates assigned in the perishable departments using the cleaning schedule.
• Assist with other operational areas as directed by the store manager.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking and standing.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching to run check out station and stock merchandise.
• Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, hoses, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, rolltainers (four-wheel rolling merchandise carts) and U-boats (six-wheel carts).
