This role is primarily Clinical with some light administrative duties.
This psychiatrist will be working in our brand new acute psych facility and program! This is an acute Psych inpatient program with two distinct programs managed in the same facility, by the same admin/clinical team.
A short term stay (7-14 days) transitional part where patients can stabilize before moving to one of our other programs, and a longer-term (30-45 day) inpatient program focused on psychiatric stabilizations and primary addiction and mental health issues.

The Clinical Rotation Analyst for the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance serves as the key subject matter expert on clinical rotations at Alliance Member sites for physician assistant students, medical students, residents and fellows. Ensures rotation primacy for all Creighton Health Science students based in Phoenix.
Essential Functions:
- Track and monitor all PA/medical student and resident/fellow rotations within Alliance member sites to protect the clinical learning environments and ensure the appropriate number of learners on are a given service.
- Proactive partner with Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix PA, UME and GME stakeholders to establish communication and reporting strategies to maximize student clinical education experience and maintain adequate capacity for learners and faculty.
- Collaborate with Creighton University Health Science Campus leaders to understand and support learner rotation needs within Alliance-member training sites.
- Serves as key point of contact with all health science schools with rotations at Alliance member sites to help communicate workflows, rotations, capacity, student schedules, etc.
- Serves as the facilitator for the resolution and implementation of operational issues across multiple cross functional departments. Support where needed in PA student, medical student, resident and/or fellow onboarding at Alliance member sites.
- Implement systems that are comparable at primary Arizona teaching sites for PA, medical student, resident and fellows to ensure alignment for rotation identification, placement, onboarding and reporting.
- Tracks academic agreements between health science schools and Alliance Members, related to student clinical rotations.
- Supports student onboarding needs at Alliance member sites.
- Foster collaboration between teaching sites. Work closely with Academic Chairs, Department Chairs, Clerkship Directors, Program Directors and Managers, and administrators to ensure appropriate learner placement volume.
- Represents the Creighton Alliance partnership in a variety of forums, including leading or participating in special projects, participating in medical center initiatives or planning processes, and responding to ad-hoc requests for assistance.
- Compiles reports and presentations suitable for informing and reporting data to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-5 years' experience in academic medicine health systems and/or student affairs with health care learners is required. Experience in provider and/or learner scheduling required.
- Experience with data analytics is highly desirable

- Experience with developing and implementing program ideas into successful strategies.
- Knowledge of Clinician Nexus, New Innovations, VSLO or related systems.
