American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with experience in pediatrics, TEE, Stress TTE, Definity, and bubble studies for an afternoon/evening shift role serving a NICU-to-geriatric patient population.

Details

- Cardiac Stress Lab setting within a cardiovascular department
- Patient population spans NICU neonates through geriatrics
- Average of 7–8 studies per shift
- Testing modalities include Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), and Cardiac Stress testing
- Afternoon/evening shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- On-call required 1–2 days per week and every 4th weekend

Requirements

- Current BLS required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required

Additional Information

- Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography exams including TTE, TEE, and Cardiac Stress testing, adhering to established protocols
- Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures, including explaining the procedure and administering imaging enhancement agents per department policy
- Utilize Epic EHR to review patient information, enter preliminary reporting, and document critical findings
- Pass/fail EKG test administered on the first day of orientation, with two attempts allowed; study guides will be provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
