Details Works in a fast-paced Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center Mid shift schedule: 1:00 PM
- 1:00 AM, 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts) All travelers are required to complete a 2-week nights rotation 2 on-call shifts required per 6-week schedule period; call shifts are 13 hours with an expectation to be onsite within one hour of being called Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) Minimum 1 year of relevant ED nursing experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Epic EMR experience required Minimum education: ASN (BSN preferred) English proficiency required (speak, read, write) Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Performs patient assessments and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with providers, patients, and families Executes and continuously modifies care plans based on ongoing patient assessment Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient documentation to support the broader healthcare team Upholds patient and staff safety through appropriate nursing interventions and adherence to safety standards Collaborates effectively with staff, visitors, and families to promote a healthy work environment RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract Travelers who have been on continuous assignment at this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility American Traveler Job ID P-683323.
