Serving as the referral center for the Inland Empire, we provide comprehensive care for women experiencing the most complex obstetric and gynecologic challenges. With over 4000 babies delivered each year , our faculty collaborate closely with Loma Linda’s specialists in the region's largest NICU , integrating pediatric surgery, cardiology, and other specialties to deliver multidisciplinary care tailored to each family’s needs.
Through our partnership with SAC Health , we provide vital OBGYN care to underserved individuals and families. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics has an immediate opening for a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Metabolic Geneticist. This position includes a faculty appointment, commensurate with training and experience, at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician/educator, who is newly trained or more experienced, with broad interests in all facets of clinical genetics and a special interest in metabolic genetics. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, patient care, inpatient consults, outpatient genetic clinics and multidisciplinary team settings, teaching medical students and residents, and research. Protected research time is available and a research focus is encouraged. Opportunities for intramural and extramural collaboration and program development abound. The diversity of the clinical genetics practice is extraordinary, offering both depth and breadth of experience in all areas including neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, and congenital anomalies. In addition, a new inpatient facility will be opening later this year.

Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children's Hospital is strategically located in the center of Southern California and has the largest Level IV NICU in California, serving approximately 25 percent of the state.
The Children's Hospital is one of the few centers for pediatric cardiac transplants and ECMO in California and is developing a Perinatal Care Center with a focus on prenatal diagnosis to better serve the large population of high-risk pregnancies and infants with prenatally diagnosed congenital anomalies. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurology has an opportunity for board certified/board eligible neurologists to join our team.
The neuromuscular section currently has 7 faculty with varied interests that provide neuromuscular expertise to our ambulatory and inpatient services. This position includes neuromuscular clinic, regular time in our AANEM-accredited EMG Laboratory and rotations on our inpatient neurology teaching service. There is additional opportunity for participation in neuromuscular clinics and the EMG lab at our growing program at Riverside University Medical Center, intraoperative monitoring and peripheral ultrasonography.
This position is perfect for a clinician educator and offers weekly teaching sessions and a regional monthly neuromuscular conference. Our faculty are core participants in resident, student, and fellow education at both the bedside and medical school level.
Our program includes an ALSA Certified Center, a funded MDA Clinic, and we direct a unique multidisciplinary team of allied professionals (physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy, nutrition, psychology, etc.) that provides prompt access for all of our neurology and neuromuscular patients. Our department has specialists in dementia, epilepsy, headache medicine, movement disorders, neurocritical care, and stroke.
Our department also has its own clinical research personnel and conducts clinical trials in many areas including neuromuscular disorders. We have a strong tradition of clinical excellence with an established Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, neuromuscular conferences, and mentorship.
