Arkema's Clear Lake site is seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of refrigeration and comfort‐cooling systems across the plant. This onsite role supports Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and HES teams and reports to the I/E/A Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot plant refrigeration systems, including:
  • 3 large process chillers (800–1500 ton)
  • 5 absorption units (1000 ton each)
  • ~48 comfort cooling systems
  • ~21 small refrigeration units (freezers, ice machines, coolers)
  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Collect refrigerant/oil samples and ensure proper chemical treatment.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including EPA Section 608.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety programs, and reliability initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotation after completing required skill progression.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in industrial refrigeration (absorption + refrigerant systems).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong communication, safety focus, and technical troubleshooting skills.

This role is onsite at the Clear Lake Plant with some overtime expected. Minimal travel required.

Job Summary

The Supplemental Speech Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients of all ages with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders of functional or neurological origin, in order to facilitate the development and maintenance of human communication and swallowing ability. The incumbent documents findings, progress and provides instruction to patients and caregivers. The therapist will provide recommendations and assists speech therapists and management team with program development. The therapist will be responsible to serve as resource and mentor; oversees the development, guidance and training of assistants, students, interns and rehabilitation technicians with regards to individual patient care.

PRN coverage needed for the the weekends, holidays and vacation coverage.
Training/orientation will be held during the week. Looking for minimum commitment of 3 weekend shifts (Sundays highly preferable); weekday shifts available as needed. Hours: 8am start time, 3-6 hours depending on caseload.

Need at least 1-2 years acute care experience and experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies.Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited university-based Speech/Language Pathology program and be awarded a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

Licenses/Certifications: Current license to practice speech/language pathology by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology for Texas.; current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, required. Current certification in Basic Life Support.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • One (1) year of experience preferred.
