A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without reapplying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.
Border Patrol Agents are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k) offering.
*Recruitment Incentive* Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents (as defined in 5 CFR 575.102 ) will be offered up to a $20,000 incentive. The first $10,000 will be paid upon successful completion of the Border Patrol Academy, with the remaining $10,000 awarded for accepting a prioritized location. Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
- Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to:
- Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
- Deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner in connection with law enforcement matters.
- Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR
A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
Veterans' Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

Emphasizing a one-team approach, Calcon offers preconstruction, design/build, construction management, and general contracting services. A Project Engineer is charged with the responsibility of providing technical support to the Project Manager and Superintendent on a project to ensure safe projects and desirable outcomes for our Clients and Company. Since nearly all of our work is negotiated with repeat and referral clients we must ensure that our projects are well planned whether they are small or large.
General responsibilities include:
* Act as the primary point of contact with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to ensure work is completed in conformance with project drawings and specifications.
* Assist with pre-construction tasks.
* Coordinate project documents (RFI's, submittals, drawings, etc...), and monitor timely turn-around on these same items.
* Review submittals making sure they are accurately reviewed and coordinated, & materials are being procured in conformance with the project schedule.
* Identify any missing information from construction documents and work through those differences with project team members (Owners, Calcon, subcontractors, Architects).
* Aid in the preparation of subcontracts / purchase agreements for projects.
* Coordinate subcontractors' work schedules with the project Superintendent.
* Monitor project safety requirements.
* Perform project closeout in conformance with the contract and to the Owners satisfaction.
* Foresee potential problems and organize the team to avoid/resolve issues before they impact the project(s).
* Resolve common project problems to maintain good business relationships and outcomes for Calcon.
* Assist during preconstruction and estimating. Duties to include quantity take-offs and bid leveling
* Assist with project schedule and associated schedule updates in conjunction with the project superintendent.
Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management with 1-2 years' experience.
* Intern experience required
* Solid computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and scheduling software.
* Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional skills and achievements including:
* High level of professionalism; Dependable, results-focused and ethical

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of internal combustion engines, transmissions, fuel systems and ancillary parts however expert level skills are not required.
We offer an extensive training period which will help guide you through how to find the right replacement engine for the customer. Ideally this is a sales position first and we are looking for someone with a varied sales background, (a natural salesperson) vs. someone who may have worked in the automotive industry that isn't necessarily sales focused. We can teach product knowledge but we can't teach charisma and a natural Type-A personality. Once you get going you'll find taking diesel engine replacement calls is fairly straightforward and there is little pushback from the customer. These are B2B customers with a piece of equipment down and need a replacement engine ASAP. Most sales are very quick happening within a day or two of first contact.

Job Duties:
* Take inbound customer parts and engine sales calls/email leads, zero to little cold calling
* Assist the customer in selecting the correct engine part for their application
* Matching engines schematics and part numbers
* Interfacing with OEM and Aftermarket vendor parts and ordering systems
* Interfacing with QuickBooks Inventory, Invoicing and Purchase Order Systems
* Providing excellent customer service, post sale follow-up and shipment tracking
* Troubleshoot common engine problems and handle basic warranty issues
* Ability to work in a high paced, high lead volume work environment
* Business Development and Key Account Management as Needed
* Light Warehouse and Forklift Duty as Needed
Job Qualifications:
* 5+ Years of Sales Experience

Responsibilities
Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Occupational Therapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed by Occupational Therapists/OTs in accordance with the physicians' orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
Qualifications
Occupational Therapists/OTs must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
- A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services approval based on prior experience setting.
- Medicare home health experience is preferred.

As a full-time or part-time Licensed Physical Therapist, you will evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to help them regain or maintain mobility, function, and independence. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical function and mobility using standardized tools.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, gait training, and use of assistive devices.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on safe mobility techniques and home exercise programs.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in CO.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Medical Technologist with us:
- You will provide technical quality testing for neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the laboratory setting in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA standards
- Your thorough understanding and application of the MT practice is essential due to the intense field of critical patient testing. Therefore, you must continuously strive to improve clinical testing through formal and informal education
- You will maintain knowledge of all procedures and protocols
- You will perform required quality control and function verification of equipment
Qualifications you will need for this role:
- ASCP or AMT are required within 6 months of hire. ASCP is the preferred certification. Continued employment will be based on valid certification
- Associate degree in related science required. Bachelor’s degree in related science preferred.
- A college graduate or equivalent who has passed a certification examination for Medical Technologist by ASCP or AMT or has completed an accredited MLT program with ASCP Board Certification is also accepted.
- Experience in a hospital laboratory is desired but not necessary.
