Your Role

As a Medical Physicist, you will:

• Provide comprehensive radiation therapy physics services, including treatment planning and delivery support for SRS, SBRT, IMRT/IGRT.
• Perform equipment acceptance, commissioning, and ongoing quality assurance.
• Conduct chart checks and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Drive clinical improvements and implement new treatment techniques.
• Be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a busy clinical environment.

Minimum:

• MS, DMP or PhD in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
• ABR Board Eligible in Therapeutic Medical Physics

Preferred:

• Certification by one of the following:
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP)
  • Canadian College of Medical Physics (CCMP)

Physical Requirements

• Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
• Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
• Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
• Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
• Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
• May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
• For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

Park City Hospital is expanding its surgical imaging support and is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to supporting large C‑arm procedures in the Operating Room as well as standard Radiologic imaging throughout the hospital. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality intraoperative imaging that directly supports complex surgical cases.

You will work side-by-side with radiologists, surgeons, anesthesiology teams, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where precision, teamwork, and patient safety are paramount. This position is ideal for a technologist who is confident in their all around Radiologic Imaging skills as well as comfort in operating large C‑arm equipment, and motivated to contribute to exceptional surgical outcomes.

• Maintain ARRT and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation prior to procedures
• Perform imaging exams according to department protocols and review images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracy
• Safely operate large C‑arm equipment in the Operating Room, supporting complex surgical cases
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Complete imaging studies efficiently without compromising patient care or image quality
• Assist with and instruct students and other Radiology Technologists on exam protocols, positioning, procedures, and equipment usage

Park City Hospital is a modern, patient-centered facility located in the heart of Summit County. Originally opened in 2009 with 37 beds, the hospital was built to bring high-quality healthcare closer to home for the growing Park City community. Today, it offers dozens of specialties, a Level IV Trauma Center, and nationally recognized emergency care.

The hospital has expanded significantly over the years, adding an ICU in 2013, the Blair Education Center and LiVe Well Center in 2017, and breaking ground on the Park City Surgery Center in 2021. In 2025, a major expansion began to grow the cancer center, emergency department, and surgical services. Park City Hospital stands as a testament to community vision and collaboration, ensuring residents have access to advanced care without leaving the area.

Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our Imaging team at Park City Hospital. In this part-time role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using specialized equipment. You’ll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

• Pay Range: $35.25 – $54.39/hour (dependent upon experience)

• Perform mammography exams following department protocols, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation
• Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns with empathy
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques
• Accurately complete documentation and patient records
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, quality control, and equipment reporting

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT Certification
• State Radiologic Technologist License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers

Preferred:

• ARRT Mammography Certification or currently enrolled in formal mammography training
• Experience in Imaging and/or Mammography
