Medical Dental Vision PTO 401K + Match Career growth Job Details Reports To: CFO / President Position Summary: The Financial Controller will lead the company’s financial accounting and FP&A functions within a manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and fixed assets Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance procedures Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit process FP&A & Strategic Support Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes Develop financial models to support operational and capital investment decisions Analyze manufacturing KPIs including margins, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and inventory turns Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to executive leadership Partner with operations to improve profitability and cost controls Leadership & Process Improvement Supervise and develop accounting/finance staff Drive continuous improvement in reporting, systems, and financial processes Support ERP optimization and data integrity initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management Experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required Interested in hearing more?
