Our client, a leading commercial and residential mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and execute commercial and multifamily projects in the Tampa / Clearwater market, with the flexibility to support projects nationwide as needed.
This role is responsible for day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule and budget control, quality assurance, and supporting estimating and bid development. When local workload is lighter, the Construction Manager will travel to project sites across the United States to support national construction and restoration initiatives, including disaster response and large-loss reconstruction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who can manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high standards for safety, schedule adherence, communication, and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Field Oversight
- Manage multiple commercial and multifamily construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews to ensure scopes, schedules, and quality expectations are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and verify quality standards.
- Coordinate daily field operations, including trade scheduling, inspections, deliveries, and equipment needs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, photos, progress updates, and reports.
- Source, qualify, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors across all required trades.
- Ensure subcontractors meet insurance, licensing, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and hold trades accountable for quality and schedule.
- Identify and resolve conflicts between trades to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Assist with the preparation of bids, budgets, and scopes of work.
- Perform site walks and scope reviews to support accurate pricing and execution planning.
- Coordinate subcontractor pricing and evaluate proposals for completeness and value.
- Help identify risks, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities during preconstruction.
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with company leadership on project budgets, job costing, and change management.
- Track progress against schedule and budget, and proactively address delays or issues.
- Support accurate forecasting and reporting on project status.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, contract documents, and applicable building codes.
- Enforce jobsite safety practices and compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct quality inspections and walkthroughs during construction and at substantial completion.
- Manage punch lists and ensure all items are addressed prior to project closeout.
- Travel to project sites across the United States when local project volume is lower.
- Provide on-site leadership for disaster response, large-loss reconstruction, and commercial restoration projects.
- Adapt quickly to changing environments, scopes, and client needs in time-sensitive situations.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Superintendent.
- Proven experience overseeing commercial, multifamily, or large residential construction projects.
- Strong background in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized under pressure.
- Strong scheduling and planning skills, with the ability to sequence work effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Clear, professional communication skills with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound field decisions.
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital field reporting tools.

- Investigate, evaluate and bring to timely resolution an inventory of low to moderately complex general liability claims of which some are litigated and may involve large property damage, bodily injury, inland marine and a sub-set of construction defect type claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and applicable state regulations and laws.
- Understand general liability coverage issues and can analyze and interpret commercial policy language in conjunction with specific facts of loss to reach appropriate coverage decisions and effectively communicate the company's coverage position verbally and in writing including reservation of rights and denial of coverage letters
- Compose a variety of other written communications to insureds, claimants, attorneys and agents in a professional and error-free manner.
- Understand and interpret construction contracts and apply risk transfer when appropriate.
- Evaluate and document damages to ensure accurate and timely reserves; immediately escalate to management cases with potential exposure above your authority.
- Negotiate effectively and in good faith to achieve fair and accurate claim settlements.
- Manage litigated claim files proactively from inception to closure, including collaboration with defense counsel to determine and execute an appropriate plan of action; bring litigated cases to resolution either by negotiated settlement or trial, as appropriate.
- Negotiate the duty to defend and indemnify with liable insurers when appropriate.
- Retain experts and vendors to achieve appropriate claim outcomes while remaining mindful of loss adjustment expenses.
- Manage assigned workloads effectively to achieve quality and quantity production goals while providing superior customer service.
- Implement strategies to expeditiously close files and manage claims to a conclusion in the most effective manner possible.
- Document all notes and file activity in a paperless claim system appropriately and clearly; compose detailed periodic reports including claim summary reports and large loss notifications, as needed.
- Communicate with other departments regarding developments on specific claim files as well as overall claim trends.
- Demonstrate an understanding of reserving requirements and philosophies and can maintain appropriate reserves on all assigned claim files.
The attributes we seek
Keys to success in this position include an understanding of commercial lines products, policy language, exclusions, ISO forms, and effective claim handling practices, as well as a moderate level of knowledge and skill in claim handling and litigation management. Five (5) or more years of experience in adjusting commercial liability claims, with a proven record of increasing responsibility, appropriate claim outcomes and excellent customer service is required. College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent are needed. Must hold Proper Public adjuster licenses in Florida and/or Texas and other states with the ability to obtain additional licenses as needed.

Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for our ICU. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment. What you will do in this role:
- You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire/ transfer
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
