The position requires medical direction of CRNAs in a 1:3-4 supervision ratio while maintaining 100% hands-on involvement during call coverage. Call responsibilities include minimum 2 weekday calls and one weekend call per month with 100% hands-on coverage during call periods. The clinician will manage cases typical for a community hospital setting including regional anesthesia techniques such as epidurals, spinals, interscalene and femoral blocks while excluding major cardiac, trauma, and limiting pediatric cases to older children when applicable.
