Compensation is commensurate with experience within a starting annual salary range of between $90,000 and $125,000. LaBre Law Office is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable team member to join our firm in a full-time, in-person position supporting both office operations and client intake. This role is essential to the daily function of the firm. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring documents are handled accurately, files are maintained properly, and client information is gathered thoroughly and professionally.
What Youβll Do:
This position combines mail/file clerk responsibilities with client intake support. You will play a key role in keeping the firm organized and ensuring that critical information and documents are handled correctly.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Sorting, scanning, copying, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Preparing and sending legal documents to clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Maintaining organized physical and electronic client files
- Assisting with organization and maintenance of active and closed files
- Conducting structured intake interviews with potential new clients
- Gathering required documents and following up with clients as needed
- Supporting attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks
- This is a high-responsibility position where attention to detail matters.
What Weβre Looking:
For Legal experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and capable of thinking critically within structured processes. This role requires a high level of accuracy and personal accountability. It is not a good fit for someone who struggles with organization or follow-through.
You should be:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using technology (scanners, document systems, basic software)
- Able to follow structured processes without constant supervision
- Capable of recognizing when information is missing and asking questions
- Professional and respectful when communicating with clients and staff
- Reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality
Position Details:
- Full-time In-person position
- Schedule: MondayβFriday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Pay: $20/hour 401(k) with 4% match upon completion of six-month probationary period
- Two weeks paid vacation and five sick days upon completion of six-month probationary period
- Paid holidays
