Position Summary:
A hospital system in Southern California is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide full-time coverage due to staffing shortages and overflow while recruiting. This is a long-term locum tenens opportunity in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Work closely with surgical teams and CRNAs in a care-team model
- Provide anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and occasional healthy pediatric cases
- No OB or cardiac cases
- Assist CRNAs as needed (rare occurrence)
- Document patient care using EPIC (Health Connect)
Case Types Include:
