Our Gastroenterology section is seeking an Advanced Endoscopist as part of a planned expansion. Expertise in bariatric endoscopy and/or ESD are preferred. Our section serves a 357-bed tertiary referral center with opportunities for outreach into surrounding communities. The facility features an outpatient endoscopy unit and side by side clinic with 8 endoscopy suites. An IM hospitalist service manages all GI admissions and GI functions as a consultative service. Eleven NPs/PAs and six General GI Physicians support outpatient management of IBS, IBD and liver disease and the inpatient GI consultation service. This position can accommodate subspecialty interests and provides a 1: 3 call schedule.
- Our current group of seven physicians includes 6 general and one advanced endoscopy Gastroenterologist working in a 100% consultative practice.
- Currently offered procedures include ERCP, SpyGlass Cholangioscopy, EUS (diagnostic and therapeutic), RFA, cryotherapy, EMR and enteral stenting.

Qualifications
- Board Certified: American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
- Licensure: Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Minnesota.
- Collaborative: Effective communication and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
- Patient-Centered: Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Passionate: Dedicated to quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development, and team building.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication; experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.

- Join a 100% clinical rheumatology practice with 2 full-time rheumatologists and 3 advanced practice providers; 36 contact hours/week; no call; outreach to satellite clinics
- Research opportunities as a partner in RAIN – Rheumatoid Arthritis Investigational Network
- Educational Opportunities available teaching residents and medical students, community, generous CME program
- Ambulatory Infusion Center and Accredited State-of-the-art Osteoporosis Program
- Referral base is the largest in our area
- Hospitalist program and multispecialty group access to Orthopedics, MSK ultrasound, PM&R, Pain Management, Nephrology, Pulmonary, ID and Neurosurgery
- 6 RNs, 3 CAs, and 2 DXA techs
- Excellent compensation and benefits including starting bonus, relocation allowance, liability and malpractice insurance coverage.
