The Shuttle Driver provides a customer-centric focus to transportation services for an assigned property, including safely driving passengers while following a set schedule and route.

- Create an environment of safety for our residents and passengers.
- Drive passengers to and from the local University while following a set schedule and route.
- Inspect the shuttle(s) daily and records necessary repairs and maintenance, informing the General Manager of needed services and repairs.
- Follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits, even at the expense of arriving late to a destination.
- Report any unsafe conditions or road hazards to the General Manager.
- Maintain a ridership log throughout each shift.
- Clean and organize the shuttle.
- Take shuttle to get washed and gets the required repairs completed.
- Maintain parts and supplies inventory, as authorized.
- Assist in snow removal at property, as required.
- Maintain required property uniform and presents a professional appearance and attitude.
- Undertake training related to job duties as deemed necessary.
The responsibilities listed above may not be all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of activities normally performed by the Shuttle Driver.
What We Require- High school diploma/GED
- Possession of a valid driver's license and safe driving recorddepending on the size of the shuttle bus, drivers may require a commercial license with a passenger endorsement
- Ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle for several hours at a time
- Knowledge of safety procedures with a safety conscious attitude, record of punctuality and dependability, and flexible schedule to accommodate after hour and weekend needs
- Job location is at the assigned property.
- Serves in an "on-call" capacity, except during approved PTO periods.

Performs moderately complex repair or construction of university facilities or property which require specialized training in the HVAC trade. Position performs the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration components, equipment and systems for a University campus consisting of approximately 200 buildings. Position's primary purpose is ensuring that all HVAC and refrigeration systems and auxiliary equipment are in good working order and that any repairs are completed promptly and properly. Hours for this 4-day, 10-hour position are Sunday through Wednesday, 5:00 am-3:30 pm.
Essential Duties:
- Reviews job orders and blueprints or drawings; inspects site and consults with client; determines best method to complete project
- Estimates amount of materials and equipment needed to complete project; arranges for materials to be at job site
- Performs complex repair or installation on University facilities and property using expertise acquired through specialized training in a skilled trade
- Assists outside contractors as needed; assists crafts-persons from other trades as needed
- Maintains and cleans tools and equipment; maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner
- May prepare some paperwork; may maintain files
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires nine months training beyond high school in a skilled trade and three years of experience in that trade, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Driver's license required
- For AQT positions EPA Universal Certification required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the procedures and equipment of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration equipment maintenance and repair
Working Conditions: Frequent standing and walking with some climbing and lifting of materials weighing 50 to 75 pounds. Frequent operation of equipment. Somewhat unpleasant working conditions. Some exposure to several unpleasant elements which are particularly disagreeable. Some element of personal risk and exposure to accidents.
