As a seasonal shuttle bus driver you will:

• Perform minor maintenance on vehicles, including fueling, oil checks and cleaning. Schedules repairs or maintenance work to vehicles with supervision as needed
• Use excellent customer service skills, establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and all members of the general public.
• Perform a variety of duties in handling and organizing transportation and activities for guests and staff at Kings Dominion

• Ability to complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets,time sheets, field trip forms, incident reports, etc. 
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions to avoid accidents.
• Good Driving Record.  
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required Class B with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes 
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

• ​Work closely with Costume leadership to ensure quality of all themed entertainment and stage productions.  

• ​Assist in all costume related aspects of attractions and productions including design, construction, and maintenance. 

• ​Prepare costumes for shows (stage shows, street performers, musicians, characters, etc) and maintain costume appearance and continuity. 

• ​Fit and alter costumes as needed, utilizing sewing machine as needed and demonstrating basic sewing ability (seams, hems, buttons, etc.). 

• ​Clean performer’s costumes after the show, prepare laundry, and use washer and dryer as directed.

A seasonal Campground Front Desk Attendant at Kings Dominion is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors at the Kings Dominion Campground.

• Operate the reservations system by making reservations via telephone or in person, checking guests in and out, taking in deposits and other payments.
• Proactively monitor reservations to honor guest’s requests.
• Must stay up-to-date on K2 updates as it pertains to daily operation.
• Greet and assist guests with their reservation needs.

• Basic situation resolution skills.
• Ability to become familiar with site types and what type of amenities we offer to guests.
• Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction.
• Be proficient with basic phone, computer, paperwork filing, and communication skills.

As one of our seasonal Medical First Responders, you will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and giving competent first aid care to guests and associates within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Six Flags Entertainment protocols. 

• Provides basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols. 
• Promptly responds to medical calls in the park. 
• Performs thorough accident investigations. 
• Processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains high degree of confidentiality. 
• Cleans and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Assists with patient follow up, as needed.

• Must possess a valid CPR certification. 
• Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-Basic (or Advanced) Certification
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II preferred. 
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.

Duties

During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
• Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
• Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
• Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
• Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
• Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
• Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
