Scope of Position: This position involves janitorial and skilled work, including maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness of the building, performing repairs (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical), conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring inspections and documentation for building systems (elevators, sprinklers, fire alarms, fire extinguishers). Responsibilities may extend to multiple buildings, requiring travel and rotation, with on-call availability for emergency repairs outside regular hours.

Essential Position Functions:

• The Maintenance Worker role entails janitorial duties and skilled maintenance work, including but not limited to maintaining cleanliness, performing repairs (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical), and conducting preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Responsibilities include inspecting and documenting various building systems (elevators, sprinklers, fire alarms, fire extinguishers).
• The position may involve working in multiple buildings, traveling between them, and occasional rotation. On-call availability for emergencies outside regular hours is required.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Wear and maintain the provided uniform by The Bridge in good and clean condition.
• Stand, walk, and bend for more than 5 hours daily.

Position Vision The part-time warehouse person is responsible for assisting a full-time warehouse person in filling of the pick area. The warehouse person is responsible for helping to keep the warehouse clean, neat, and orderly at all times to include emptying trash, baling of plastic and cardboard. PT warehouse person may build orders for bulk delivery and assist in loading and unloading draft trailers.

Quantifiable Position Objectives

1. Reports to work on time wearing a clean company issued safety uniform.
2. Assist in loading empty bottles and kegs onto supplier trucks.
3. Assist in filling of the pick room in a neat and orderly manner.
4. Assist with repacking/breakage.
5. Helps load bulk trucks with products. Products may be lifted using arms and hands to stack products on pallets for loading onto trucks. Products weight approximately:

Work Environment Conditions All work is performed inside the confines of the warehouse except for local deliveries. Exposure to broken glass and diesel fumes.

Additional Comments Preferred a valid, clean NYS driver's license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier. This person will be required make deliveries and fill in for the driver assistant/helper as needed.
