The Medical Assistant provides medical / nursing assistance under the direction of physician or nursing staff within their certified capabilities.

Registered Nurse provides direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical and institution standards. Key Responsibilities Perform emergency medical treatment for Sailors, Marines, and specialized units such as SEALs and Seabees; provide basic and emergency dental care and process dental X rays; serve as operating room technician and assist in surgery; administer preventive care and medications including immunizations and IVs; conduct physical exams and assist in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries; maintain patient records, perform clinical tests, and support physicians and nurses in a wide range of specialties.
