Bayview Physicians Group is a progressive, independent, multi-specialty physician group serving the Hampton Roads region of southeast coastal Virginia. This is a rare opportunity to join a group and take over the high-quality, community-based, turnkey colorectal surgery practice of our long-time surgeon who is relocating out of the area. This position has strong collaboration, support and referral network from the GI practice, our Surgical Specialists team of 8 providers and our Hampton Roads medical group of 185 providers.
Your practice includes the following:Full-time practice encompassing 50% outpatient, 50% inpatient, surgery, and consultations.
Highly experienced support staff including Colorectal LPN for 1:1 clinical support, Oncology Navigator, Surgery Scheduler, Practice Administrator, Patient Service Reps and RN in the practice.
Practice Hours M-F 8a-4p, no weekends but call is required
Average 15-20 patients per clinic day.
1:4 Call shared with general surgery - 1 weekday per week and one weekend per month. 7 calls required per month. Excess comp beyond 7 calls. Medication refills pended to open office hours.
2 hospital call coverage
