About This Opportunity

CarterWill Search is conducting a confidential search for a nationally prominent plaintiff-side litigation boutique to identify a talented corporate governance associate for their growing Delaware office. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly on complex Delaware Court of Chancery matters in a challenging yet rewarding environment with immediate substantive responsibility.

What You'll Do

• Research and draft documents addressing key litigation issues in corporate governance and appraisal matters
• Conduct privilege reviews and prepare privilege logs
• Draft complaints, briefs, discovery requests (interrogatories, document requests, requests to admit), and deposition notices
• Prepare for and attend depositions; analyze deposition transcripts for relevant testimony
• Assist with trial preparation, attendance, mediation preparation, and settlement-related activity
• Handle matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery and courts across the country

What We're Looking For

• U.S. law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Law school graduation year 2018–2020 (minimum 3 years of experience in related substantive matters)
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with confidence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
