As an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse):
You will deliver hands-on clinical care under the direction of an RN, including:
- Administering medications and monitoring IV therapy

- Collecting resident data and contributing to care planning
- Providing emotional support to residents and families
- Ensuring safe, high‑quality care in accordance with policies and standards
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current NYS RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current NYS LPN license
LPN Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
RN Pay Range: $44.00 - $47.00 per hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

About Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center
Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a specialized memory care community with 52 private and semi-private rooms. Our programs are designed for individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment, offering a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. Our compassionate staff is committed to providing personalized care to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standard of care is provided to residents while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource and point of guidance for staff during shifts, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues that arise with staff, residents, and family members.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of resident charting, medication administration, and documentation.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with care standards and proper documentation.
- Act as a direct resource for the nursing team on the evening shift managing daily operations and ensuring a smooth coordination of care.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with other members of the nursing management team to provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Valid LPN license in the state of New York
Preferred:
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally in direct patient care
- 2+ years of experience in memory care or a similar setting
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including documentation and note-taking
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for professional growth and leadership development in the nursing field

LPN - Rensselaer/Albany Counties full time weekdays 8am to 4pm (no weekends and no mandatory overtime!)
