Nurse Practitioner Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.

Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
Perform specimen collection processing and analyze results.
Provide care for infectious diseases and manage treatment plans.
Assist in ophthalmology procedures as needed.
Conduct spinal taps and other diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop treatment plans.
Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
Experience in home care, hospital medicine, or acute care preferred.
Proficient in specimen collection processing techniques.
Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is a plus.
Ability to lift patients and assist with mobility as needed.
Familiarity with sonography techniques is beneficial but not required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
