What you'll be working on:
- Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- State licensed in Texas, obtained by your One Medical start date

Summary:
This position assumes overall accountability for oversight of all medical practices and clinical quality along with related activities within the ministry. The position functions as the liaison between the ministry Medical Staff and President. In addition to the ministry responsibilities, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will support System-level initiatives as they relate to the ministry or to CHRISTUS Health on a strategic level. For those System sponsored programs, the CMO will be accountable to the CHRISTUS Health System Chief Medical Officer. This position is accountable for serving as a catalyst for the development of practice guidelines and care protocols that lead to the achievement of quality biomedical/service outcomes and cost efficiencies. Additionally, the CMO is accountable for continuous quality improvement and clinical loss prevention functions as they relate to clinical practice and patient safety. This position will oversee the care management and quality management functions of the ministry and actively participates on and contributes to the Quality Management Committee.
Responsibilities:
Clinical and Service Quality
- Assists local management and clinical leadership in the development and application of provider-focused interventions and decision support tools (i.e., best practice guidelines, drug formularies, care process maps, referral guidelines, case management, and utilization review.
1. Communicates effectively across administrative and clinical lines to accomplish the necessary integration of hospital services in support of medical practice within the hospital.
2. Contributes proactively to the clinical and service outcomes of all communities to which this position is assigned.
3. Assists in the development and application of information systems/programs for ongoing monitoring, measurement and communication of patient care management to facilitate timely specific clinical behavior modification.
4. Accountable for care management/utilization management throughout the continuum of care.
5. Serves to coordinate other medical director activities as they exist in the local continuum of care delivery and serves as a leader and mentor to develop local physician leadership.

Job Requirements:
Education/Skills:
- Masters degree in Nursing or other healthcare related profession required.
- M.D. is required
- State medical license

Experience:
- Five years progressive administrative experience in a clinical setting in a hospital or health system.
- Five years of experience in a strategic quality position oversight of multiple health care systems.
- Considerable medical experience in one or more branches of medicine or surgery and some administrative experience in a medical department
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
- Board certification by one of the American Boards of Medical Specialties.
- CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) required or within 1 year of hire.
- Current license in a relevant clinical discipline is required.

As a dedicated Quality Property Reinspector , you will ensure a quality property repair estimate and valuation product by focusing on targeted areas to continuously calibrate the reinspection process, validates reported findings and provides an objective subject matter expert (SME) knowledge to the Property Claims community and Third-Party vendors. Drives USAA’s financial strength by measuring and reporting estimate accuracy for Property Claims and Third-Party vendors.

What you’ll do:
- Measures property estimates accuracy and efficiency through conducting thorough, timely re-inspections/audits of property and property repair estimates, and reports on payment accuracy and compliance by method of inspection (Staff, PDRP, Independents and Third-Party vendors).
- Reports reinspection/audit findings on estimate accuracy and compliance by method of inspection (Staff, PDRP, Independents and Third-Party vendors) for corporate score cards.
- Assesses the health of property estimating through participation in ad-hoc and market audits, working closely with Claims stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Provides objective, proactive, and actionable feedback of Physical Damage (PD) policy, procedures and regulations to the Claims Stakeholders and Third-Party vendors.
- Creates awareness and drives understanding of Property adjusting and estimating procedures by delivering a work product that is consistent and compliant with policy, procedures, and regulations to Claims Stakeholders.
- Serves as a Property Adjusting SME on property estimating through post audit calibration meetings, ride-a-longs with other Property employees inspecting property, training materials, Property Director teleconferences and Property Champion teleconferences.
- Applies expert knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, USAA property estimate/repair process and procedures.
- Provides support for the presentation, discussion, and auditing of diagnostic estimates within key regional markets, contributing to the assessment of estimate quality. During a catastrophe, or post event, performs property reinspections for catastrophe claims with a minimum of 28 consecutive days during the catastrophe event or post event. Requires working time requirement of 7 consecutive days, 7:00AM 7:00PM, member time.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you’ll have:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- 2 years relevant property field adjusting experience.
- Experience writing estimates in Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
- Knowledge and experience of property claims contracts.
- Knowledge of property construction and structural repair techniques.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
What sets you apart:
- Previous experience managing TPA estimating, QA, Audits.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and provide useful insights.
- 4+ recent years writing Dwelling estimates in Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
- 4+ recent years of working property claims contract knowledge.
- Experience working with both internal and external partners/suppliers.
- Willingness to travel at least one week per month.

Physical Demand Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds to include lifting a ladder in and out of the trunk of a car.

Urology Austin, a leading and expanding urology practice in Central Texas, seeks a talented Urology Oncologist to join our team of over 50 providers across 13 convenient locations. We are dedicated to providing exceptional urologic care and are at the forefront of the latest technologies, surgical techniques, and advanced treatment options.
Our comprehensive care continuum extends beyond our clinics, encompassing two radiation therapy centers, an interventional radiology program, a centralized pharmacy, a centralized laboratory, and advanced diagnostic imaging including PET/CT, CT, and Ultrasound. While we are a large and growing practice, we ensure every patient feels important, heard, and receives expert, personalized care.
