Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in San Marcos, TX . The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care experience and thrive in a fast-paced, outpatient environment delivering high-quality, efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities-
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions

Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other urgent care services

Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests including labs and imaging

Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up care

Collaborate with urgent care physicians and support staff to ensure efficient, team-based care

Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR

Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

Responsibilities: Perform a variety of high-quality ultrasound procedures including all vascular studies under minimal supervision utilizing diagnostic ultrasound imaging equipment.
Documents calibration procedures for individual imaging equipment.
Coordinates, organizes, plans and makes quick decisions on emergent cases; evaluates and acts to maintain efficiency and maximize productivity.
Assists the Radiologist in performing invasive biopsy procedures using the Ultrasound system to pinpoint exact anatomical location(s) of a specified diseased area for specimen evaluation and diagnosis.
Perform all vascular ultrasound exams requested.
Ensures that all procedures are accurately charged and that all charges are turned in at the end of the day for correct billing.
Ensures that the Ultrasound room is adequately supplied, check equipment and computer status for readiness, reports any problems that could change the workflow and make sure corrective actions are taken to ensure of workflow continuity.
Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a way that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of persons served by the department.
Appropriately adapts assigned patient assessment to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific and other developmental needs of each person served.

Requirements: Education/Skills Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences, Ultrasound Technology, or other accepted and approved equivalent.
Experience One (1) year of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting is preferred.
Prefer one (1) year of experience performing the following exams: Carotid Arteries Upper Extremity veins Lower Extremity veins Upper Extremity arteries Lower Extremity arteries Abdominal Aorta Aortic Hepatic and Porta flow systems PW or CW insonation of cerebral arteries transcranially, and peripheral arteries.
Knowledge of plethysmography for arterial and venous circulation evaluation.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required.

Summary: The Catheterization Laboratory Technician II is an experienced member of the cath lab team, proficient in supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Adheres to aseptic technique 100% of the time during procedures and stops the line if a break in sterile technique is identified.

Job Title : Medical Assistant/Technician (Hospital Corpsman) Category / Component : Enlisted • Both Overview Hospital Corpsmen assist healthcare professionals and provide medical and dental care to Sailors, Marines, and their families across clinics, hospitals, ships, and field units, gaining broad clinical, technical, and operational experience.
Key Responsibilities Perform emergency medical treatment for Sailors, Marines, and specialized units such as SEALs and Seabees; provide basic and emergency dental care and process dental X rays; serve as operating room technician and assist in surgery; administer preventive care and medications including immunizations and IVs; conduct physical exams and assist in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries; maintain patient records, perform clinical tests, and support physicians and nurses in a wide range of specialties.
