This is a PRN (as-needed) position with ongoing availability, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to your preferences.

Flexible Work Options: Choose the work environment that best suits you! Travel and perform exams at Veterans Examination Service (VES) leased facilities, or schedule Veterans within your existing practice setting.

You can also choose to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).

Focus on Assessment & Evaluation: Utilize your clinical skills to conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.

These evaluations primarily involve interviews with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.

Ability to utilize a Goniometer for range of motion testing is necessary.

Possession of a personal laptop (excluding Macs) is mandatory.

Additional Responsibilities: Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

Timely submission of DBQs within 48 hours of exam completion ??? these are standardized forms, not narrative reports.

Completion of evaluations within the VES provider portal.

Review of Veterans' medical records in most cases.

Follow-up administrative tasks such as addendums, medical opinions, and reviewing diagnostics.
